It All Started
In 1983, nine local clergy welcomed the idea to have a Christian organization that would aid the growing problem of hungry families. By July 2, 1984, CHH was in operation.
Christian Helping Hands is operated by an ALL-VOLUNTEER staff. In addition, member churches have grown to over 20 from all denominations.
They all follow God's command "therefore I command you, You shall open wide your hands to your brother, to the needy and to the poor in this land" Deuteronomy 15:11
With over 100 volunteers, Christian Helping Hands services over 200 families a week, over 36,000 people a year.
