For Our Clients
- We open our doors by 9:30am Monday-Friday (closed for major holidays).
- It is a first come, first served process. Be prepared to wait several hours.
- We close when we reach our maximum number of families we can serve that day or 1pm, whichever comes first.
First time visitors - bring a photo ID. You will be asked to fill out an application.

- Es un proceso por orden de llegada. Prepárate para esperar varias horas.
- Cerramos cuando alcan zamos nuestro número máximo de familias a los que podemos servir ese día o a la 1 pm, lo que ocurra primero.
Visitantes por primera vez: traiga una identificación con foto. Se le pedira que complete una solicitud.
Donations
The food we share comes from the community as well as retail partners. If you wish to donate food items, deliver to door A at the back of the building.
We need monetary donations as well. These are used to cover utilities and insurance but are also used to purchase food items to supplement.

Volunteer Opportunities
- Our greatest need is always pantry volunteers - stock food, pull orders and whatever else that's needed.
- We also have administrative volunteers - interview and assist our clients and enter data on the Houston Food Bank portal (client facing)
- We have a group of drivers that pick up food at our retail partners 7 days a week.

Organizations
We welcome all organizations - churches, scout groups, schools....
The biggest impact is from food/toiletry drives - either a specific item (e.g peanut butter or diapers) or a general drive. Our biggest needs are cereal, peanut butter and jelly, canned goods, pasta, rice, dried beans, macaroni, pasta sauce, etc. Extra items such as cooking oil, sugar, salad dressings, coffee, cat and dog food, shampoo and conditioner, soap, toothpaste and toothbrushes, deodorant and diapers (particularly size 5 or 6)
